Thursday, October 1st at the Grand Annex in downtown San Pedro. This is First Thursday and the downtown theme will be Dia de los Muertos. In keeping with that tradition, The Huffs (Emily and I) will be performing two sets of songs written by performers that are no longer with us, as in dead. Sad to say, there are a bunch of them.
This is also the next edition of the Grand Annex Arts Saloon, featuring Art of the Annex: From the Collection of Liz Schindler Johnson. John Van Hamersveld and Regina Argentin will be present to discuss their work and they will also have art for sale. I've attached a flyer with the all the details. As usual, the art show is curated by Henry Krusoe of fINdings Art Center.
Food trucks are all over downtown and you are welcome to bring food inside the Annex. The bar will be open.
